As the CEO of G42 Healthcare, Ashish has envisioned a holistic ecosystem of AI-powered solutions for current and future challenges and built on public-private-partnerships and collaborated with government and private entities, as well as pharmaceutical companies, tech entities and, academic institutions in the UAE and beyond to develop solutions that futureproof the health of nations.
Under Ashish’s leadership, G42 Healthcare has built the largest national biorepository as part of the company’s therapeutic pillar, widened its Research & Development plans, encompassing genomics, imaging and diagnostics, and digitization programs to support the health of future generations.
Ashish leads a multifaceted, growing organization with disruptive next-generation solutions in diagnostics, digital health, therapeutics, and advanced Omics. He has been directing multi-stakeholder large-scale national programs, including the Emirati Genome Program and is keen to move into long-term implications of Omics for food security and agriculture, advancing research on genomics and proteomics, and promoting sustainable agriculture, and forensics work.
Prior to joining G42, Ashish has held roles as Deputy General Manager – Technology Development & Innovation at Reliance Jio and Technology Planning at Ooredoo.
Ashish has completed his post-graduation in Computer Networks from Middlesex University and has an MBA in Engineering Business Management from Alliance Manchester Business School.
