After completing his studies at Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France, he became a specialist in PMR and sports medicine. As the team physician, he joined “FC Toul, France” in 1993, marking the start of his professional career. Shortly after, he returned to his native Tunisia and joined the “Tunisian National Centre of Sports Medicine” where he served as a physician for the Tunisian national teams.
Following his relocation to the United Arab Emirates in 1999, he has served as a head of medical services for three distinct football clubs in addition to the UAE 1st Football national team.

Currently he is the chief medical officer of the FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence in Dubai, where he offers medical care to athletes from all over the world. He serves as well as a consultant and lecturer in the field of sports medicine for many universities and sports institutions worldwide.
In the fields of football medicine specifically and sports medicine in general, he has authored several scholarly publications. In addition, he has demonstrated his abilities as a scientific director by planning numerous scientific conferences, workshops, seminars, and symposia.
Currently, he is working with multiple universities and sports organizations to perform numerous sports medicine research initiatives.
