Kayaan serves as Senior Advisor to the Office of His Excellency, the Minister of State for Foreign Trade within the Ministry of Economy and advises the Ministry on a range of policy and strategic matters relating to bilateral and multilateral trade, foreign direct investment and exports.
Kayaan is a also mergers & acquisitions and government contracts attorney. He has lived in the UAE for more than a decade, practicing law (currently a Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP) and advising government bodies in the the Middle East, Central Asia, Asia and Africa. Kayaan advises multi-national organizations, sovereign wealth funds, and governments on complex, cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures and commercial arrangements with experience in the logistics, defense, aerospace, technology, retail and industrial sectors.
