Michelle arrived in Dubai, UAE in 2022, after eight years with the marque, where she previously worked on a wide variety of exciting and exquisite projects, including Phantom The “Six Elements” series and the Bespoke, one-of-one Phantom Serenity, which captivated the world with its unique appointments and material treatments that redefined the luxury of tranquillity.

Michelle earned a first-class honours degree in interior textiles and surface design from the University of Plymouth before starting her design career and joining Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in 2014.

Michelle’s family has a deep-rooted heritage in the textiles and fashion industry and her grandmother was an expert seamstress for the Luxury leather handbag company, Mulberry. Michelle is inspired by Fine art, and in particular traditional printmaking and etching techniques. She often works on her own art, etching metal plates by hand, Iino printing, and screen printing. She enjoys the mix of traditional and modern craft, a passion that is harmonious within RollsRoyce, and is often her inspiration for new designs, materials and techniques.

In her spare time Michelle loves being outdoors and hiking in the countryside, or exploring the city and admiring modern architecture. She is also a keen horse rider having competed in dressage competitions from an early age.
