Moon Baz is the Creator Partnerships Lead, Middle East, Africa and Turkey at Meta. She leads the Creator Partnerships team across the video ecosystem for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey. Moon works closely with strategic creators and public figures, supporting them to leverage Facebook and Instagram tools to maximize mutually beneficial objectives.

Prior to joining Meta, Moon was appointed as the acting CEO for SuperMama, and worked in parallel as a freelance consultant supporting different strategic clients in the region including Deezer MENA in their market entry strategy, Vue International in their cinema business plan and financial due diligence, and GCAM Saudi Arabia on a turnaround plan to support the Pay TV industry.

Before that, Moon was a Business Planning Manager at MBC group across the online platforms, VOD (Shahid), mobile services and distribution. Moon supported in annual business plans, actions plans and product roadmaps.

Moon was also a Business Development Manager for Webedia Arabia (previously Diwanee), where she evaluated strategic positioning and identified new business opportunities, developed improvement initiatives and new processes for internal operations.

Prior to that, Moon was a senior management consultant with Booz & Co, where she supported projects for the firm across the Consumer, Media and Technology practice. She worked on business planning, strategy development, financial modelling and valuation, and organization restructuring.

Moon holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Financial Economics from the American University of Beirut.

Moon has a dual citizenship French/ Lebanese and has been residing in Dubai since June 2012. She is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
