Paschalis Bouchoris, Managing Director is the Country Head for
BlackRock in Dubai. His responsibilities include BlackRock’s business
operations, strategy and senior client relationships across the Middle
East (ex-Saudi) region. In his previous role at BlackRock since May
2015 he led the activity of Financial Market Advisory (FMA) in
Southeastern Europe and Middle East and served as a senior
oversight in multiple client engagements with financial and official
institutions focusing on risk management and policy advisory, capital markets, asset
valuations and transactions.
Paschalis has over 25 years of experience in banking, advisory and executive
management. Prior to BlackRock he was the CEO of Greece’s Privatization Fund (HRADF)
where he oversaw Greece’s privatization program of public utilities, energy & transportation
infrastructure and real estate assets.
Previously he had worked at National Bank of Greece in roles including Head of Large
Corporate Special Assets focusing on workouts and NPLs, Head of International Corporate
overseeing the Group’s wholesale banking and asset recovery activities in Southeastern
Europe and co-Head of the Group’s mid-market private equity funds. Earlier in his career he
had worked as a strategy consultant with Monitor Company in New York.
Mr. Bouchoris earned an undergraduate degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering at
NTUA, Greece and an MBA degree at Rotterdam School of Management in the
Netherlands.
