BIO : Saadia Shatila is an educator, artist, and certified art therapy practitioner dedicated to fostering creativity and emotional well-being through art. A graduate of the University of Michigan, she channels her passion for teaching and artistic expression into creating inclusive spaces that encourage self-discovery and growth.Driven by a deep appreciation for children’s unique perspectives and creativity, Saadia founded The Art Colony in the UAE, a vibrant studio where people of all ages can explore art in a supportive and judgment-free environment. In a short time, her workshops, and collaborations—ranging from corporate team-building events to therapeutic art sessions—have touched diverse communities across the region. Notably, she partners with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to lead regular art therapy sessions for MS patients in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Al Ain, and has volunteered with cancer patients, the elderly, and others in need of creative healing.
