Shadi is the regional director for REGENT, a startup developing zero-emission high-speed seagliders for coastal mobility. Prior to REGENT, Shadi covered Business Development in MENA for Volansi, a cargo drone logistics company. Shadi led the Sales activity within the Middle East & Africa region for GE Aviation’s military segment. Shadi started his career at Northrop Grumman – Aerospace Systems in California where he held various flight test engineering roles in support of the Firescout UAV program for the U.S. Navy. Shadi supports the growing autonomous drone logistics space through advisory roles.
Shadi earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Applied Physics from the University of California, San Diego. Shadi completed an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
