Yaqoub Al Maktoumi is the Head of Digital Transformation Unit within OQ, where he is devoting his 21 years of experience to manage and execute OQ digital transformation strategy. He has extensive experience in business and innovative technology deployments that create the essential business value expected from digital transformation projects.
Yaqoub current focus is running DX projects with large impact on business though implementing AI, analytics and IoT Technology solutions. In his current role, he is leading the DX strategy and implementation across Upstream, Downstream, Marketing and renewable energy business unites in addition to the corporate functions of OQ to deliver the required transformation projects
Yaqoub is a lead DX counsel for many government entities, including Ministries, governorate offices and authorities supporting them to setup their digital transformation roadmap and strategy.
