Aly M. Siessa is the founder of Vound, a startup developing a new form of assistive listening devices using AI and augmented reality platforms. Aly started working on what would become Vound as a research project while an undergraduate student at MIT, which led him to be named a “Forbes 30 Under 30” honoree in the consumer technology list in the U.S. and was in the first class of Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees for the Middle East in 2018. Siessa attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Oxford University, and was previously on the investment team of Rocket Internet, where he worked on the he worked on deals across the MENA region.
