Ali Zein is an investor and systems thinker backing venture and growth-stage companies across AI infrastructure, clean energy, and critical minerals.
At Oxford, he sits on the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment's Advisory Board, contributing to its work on the climate and energy transition. He also advised on the design of the University's new flagship venture programme for deep-tech founders as an SDG Fellow.
His policy work spans resilience projects with the United Nations Development Programme across 23 countries, and regional energy security analysis as a recognised MENA Young Leader by a Cambridge think-tank.
Ali holds a Master's degree from the University of Oxford and a First-Class Bachelor's degree in Business. He is motivated to widen access to opportunity for young people and sits on the board of JCI London.
