Christopher Joshua Benton is an American artist based in Abu Dhabi whose practice explores sustainability, urbanism, and social memory through large-scale installations and collaborative research. His work engages architects, scientists, and local communities to reimagine spaces—from overcrowded housing to public parks—with a focus on inclusion and environmental resilience.
His recent projects span collaborations with MIT’s Immersion Lab, and exhibitions participation at Abu Dhabi Public Art Biennial, Jameel Arts Centre and Abu Dhabi Art: Beyond Emerging (59th Venice Biennale).
His exhibited artworks are represented by Baró O-Contemporary Gallery.
