Dan Vahdat is a technology entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of Huma, a global healthcare AI company building national-scale digital health and research infrastructure. His work centres on regulated AI, real-world data platforms, and large public-private partnerships that modernise healthcare systems in collaboration with governments, health systems, and leading life sciences organisations. He began his PhD at Johns Hopkins University, focusing on the intersection of deep technology, medicine, and large-scale systems, before leaving the program to found Huma. Vahdat has led major digital health transformation programs across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, and is recognised internationally for bridging technology, policy, and healthcare delivery. His work has been featured at global policy and innovation forums and associated with prestigious industry recognition, including the Prix Galien (often referred to as the “Nobel Prize of biopharmaceutical research”).
