Dr. Carol Coughlan is an internationally recognised Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery with over two decades of experience supporting individuals and couples through complex fertility challenges. A graduate with honours from University College Cork, she completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and holds Subspecialist accreditation from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK).
She also holds a Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of Sheffield, with doctoral research focused on recurrent miscarriage and recurrent implantation failure, areas in which she maintains a strong clinical and academic focus. Dr. Coughlan has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals and is a frequent speaker at global fertility conferences.
Prior to relocating to the UAE in 2016, Dr. Coughlan served as Medical Director of the National Oncofertility Centre at Rotunda Hospital, Dublin, where she led one of Ireland's foremost fertility preservation programmes. She subsequently served as Medical Director at ART Fertility Clinic, Dubai. Known for her compassionate, evidence-based approach, Dr. Coughlan is dedicated to providing personalised fertility care that guides patients through every stage of their journey with confidence and clarity.
