Dr. Emmanouil (Manos) Nikolousis is a Consultant Hematologist with over 18 years of experience. He is U.K. board-certified in Clinical Hematology and Bone Marrow transplant. He completed his hematology and bone marrow transplant training in the West Midlands region and subsequently became the Clinical Director of Hematology and Stem cell transplantation at Heartlands Hospital, part of University Hospitals Birmingham, one of the the top 5 Hospitals in the U.K. Under his leadership, the Hematology Department on Ward 19 was awarded the Team of the Year distinction award in 2019 for the innovative and patient-focused care delivered to Hematology and Bone marrow transplant patients. He has also worked in Greece and Cyprus for the last two years, and he was an Associate Professor of Hematology and the Chair of Medical School at the European University of Cyprus. He was a member of the Acute Leukemia Working Party in the U.K. for 10 years and his main interests are benign and malignant hematology, as well as bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapies.
