Dr. Sumaya Al-Neyadi currently serves as the Head of the Traffic Safety at the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi. With more than 15 years of proven expertise in road traffic safety, she has led transformative initiatives that have significantly advanced Abu Dhabi’s road safety agenda. Under her leadership, Traffic Safety achieved major milestones, including the adoption of the ambitious Vision Zero 2040 target within the Emirate’s Road Safety Strategy.
Dr. Sumaya also serves as the Chair of the International Road Federation (IRF Global) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Subcommittee and leads an international task force on distracted driving and as Vice-Chair of the Global Road Safety Committee.
Her exceptional leadership and contributions to the fields of mobility and road safety have earned her several distinguished honors, including MOVE 2025-Women in Mobility International Award and recognition among the Top 100 Women Leaders in the Middle East.
