Dr. Jamal Alamiri, MD, is a Consultant Urologist at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, specializing in minimally invasive and robotic urologic surgery.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Alamiri served as a Consultant Urologist at Cleveland Clinic’s main campus in Ohio, USA, where he provided care for patients with complex urologic conditions and was involved in resident education, clinical research, and clinical trials.
Dr. Alamiri earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), graduating with First Class Honors. He is the first Emirati and international medical graduate to complete a urology residency at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He subsequently completed fellowship training in Endourology, Robotic Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Urologic Oncology Surgery at Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Alamiri is the first Emirati American Board Certified Urologist. His honors include the Distinguished Doctor Scholarship from the Ministry of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, with the support of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. In addition recognition through the Kelalis Resident Essay Competition from the Minnesota Urological Society. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in urology and has presented research at prominent international conferences. Dr. Alamiri is a member of the American Urological Association and the Endourology Society.
