Dr. Marian Khatib is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon and Chief of the Breast Cancer Center at American Hospital Dubai. A pioneer in the field, she is the first female robotic breast surgeon in the Middle East and is recognized for advancing breast cancer care through innovation, surgical excellence, and patient-centered treatment.
Dr. Khatib completed advanced subspecialty training in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery at Oxford University Hospitals and the Royal United Hospitals in the United Kingdom. She also holds an MBA in Healthcare Innovation, reflecting her commitment to transforming healthcare delivery and driving innovation in cancer care.
In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Khatib serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah and Gulf Medical University, where she is actively involved in medical education and mentorship. As Chief of the Breast Cancer Center, she leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based breast care.
