Dr. Maryam Al Shehhi, is a consultant clinical geneticist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical city, Abu Dhabi and an adjunct associate professor of Genetics and Genomic Medicine at the UAE University, college of medicine and health sciences. She has many publications in medical genetics including new discoveries of rare disease genes. She is a member of the SEHA Genomics Service Line and a faculty trainer at UAEU Medical Genetics Fellowship training and Genetic Counselling Master course. Her areas of interest and research are rare genetic diseases, dysmorphology, skeletal dysplasia, neurodevelopment and neuromuscular disorders.
