Dr. Nina Tandon is the CEO and co-founder of EpiBone, the world’s first company growing personalized bone and cartilage from stem cells. Under her leadership, EpiBone became the first and only company with FDA-cleared, stem-cell-based bone and cartilage implants for clinical use in humans. The company has successfully treated patients with engineered bone grafts and is now expanding internationally through Hub71 in Abu Dhabi, collaborating with regional partners to advance regenerative medicine and clinical development.
An MIT- and Columbia-trained bioengineer, McKinsey alumna, and Fulbright Scholar, Nina has been recognized by Forbes 40 Under 40, Crain’s 40 Under 40, and Inc. 100 Female Founders. She has spoken at TED, Davos, the Milken Institute, and the Ramadan Majlis in Abu Dhabi, and currently serves on the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine’s Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Committee.
