Dr. Sreehari Pillai

Dr. Sreehari Pillai is a senior healthcare leader and physician executive with over two decades of international experience spanning the UK NHS, Indian tertiary hospitals, and the UAE healthcare sector. He currently serves as Medical Director and Consultant in Internal Medicine at NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi, where he oversees the clinical and operational leadership of a large multi-specialty hospital and six affiliated medical centers. Combining clinical depth with strategic vision, Dr. Sreehari holds an MD in Internal Medicine, FRCP (UK), MBA in Leadership, and CPHQ certification. Under his leadership, the hospital has advanced in quality accreditations, digital transformation, financial performance, and multidisciplinary care delivery. He is recognized for aligning clinical governance with business sustainability, and for building institutional frameworks that emphasize safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Dr. Sreehari is also a committed innovator in health technology. He co-founded a mobile application that enables public self-screening for breast health and promotes timely mammography. As a Clinician Advisory Panel member for Malaffi, Abu Dhabi’s AI-driven health information exchange, he supports the ethical and effective integration of real-time data sharing across hospitals—enhancing continuity of care and system-level decision-making.
