Dr Tahir Hussain is Chief Executive of Canadian Specialist Hospital Group in Dubai, anchored with a JCI-accredited tertiary care hospital, centers & pharmacies and co-founding lead of MRBF Health Fund, an ADGM-registered healthcare investment platform. He has spent 28 years building, scaling and turning around healthcare systems across the Gulf. As Group Chief of Operations and Business Excellence at SEHA, the UAE’s largest provider, he led system integration including 14 hospitals, 60+ ambulatory centers and 2,500 beds serving more than 7 million patient visits a year, contributing to improving group EBITDA from negative to a double-digit margin in just a couple of years. He previously ran the integration office that brought SEHA into PureHealth, the region’s largest healthcare consolidation, and served as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health under Vision 2030.
His earlier career spans various executive leadership roles at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib, NMC Healthcare, Dubai Healthcare City, Abbott, Pfizer and Sanofi.
