Dr Yasmin Giambrone is Head of Radiology at King’s College Hospital London – Dubai and a UK-trained Consultant Breast and Diagnostic Radiologist. She combines executive healthcare leadership with an active clinical practice in breast imaging and intervention, driving innovation in radiology and advancing the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into clinical practice.
Dr Giambrone graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2009 and was awarded a Distinction in her MSc from Imperial College London in 2012. She completed her specialist training in Clinical Radiology through the Royal Free London training programme before undertaking a dedicated Breast Radiology Fellowship at the Royal Free Hospital, London. Prior to relocating to the UAE, she served as a Consultant Breast Radiologist at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK’s leading tertiary referral centres for breast imaging and intervention.
Since joining King’s College Hospital London – Dubai in 2023, Dr Giambrone has served as Head of Radiology while practising as a Consultant Interventional Breast Radiologist. She leads a multidisciplinary radiology department, driving strategic growth, clinical excellence and digital innovation. Under her leadership, the department has expanded its services, strengthened clinical governance, improved operational performance and reporting turnaround times, and implemented AI-enabled imaging technologies to enhance diagnostic quality and patient care.
A strong advocate for responsible innovation, Dr Giambrone has championed the adoption of artificial intelligence across multiple imaging pathways, including AI-assisted mammography, chest radiography, brain CT and ultrasound. She is passionate about translating emerging technologies into safe, effective clinical practice that enhances diagnostic accuracy, improves operational efficiency and elevates the quality of patient care.
