Emon Shakoor is a Saudi neuroscience researcher turned venture capitalist and entrepreneur, renowned for her groundbreaking contributions in the intersection of innovation, inclusion and investment. As the founder and CEO of Blossom Accelerator, a global accelerator & ecosystem builder that partners with startups, corporations, and governments globally to champion inclusive innovation and strategic investments.
Emon serves as a Venture Partner at Oryx Fund and is an influential angel investor, advisor as well as on the opportunity committee at Oqal, the largest angel investment group across the GCC. Before her venture capital journey, Emon earned a Bachelor's in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego, where she conducted research on mirror neurons in social cognition.
