Fatima Al Dhaheri is Head of the Food and Water Cluster at the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
In her role, she helps in driving Abu Dhabi’s efforts in advancing research and development, sustainability
and security in the food and water sector. Her work addresses shifting dietary patterns, capitalises on
technological advancements, and supports the Emirate’s goals of strengthening global food security,
ensuring a reliable and resilient supply chain for the future.
Over the course of her career, Fatima has worked with different investment asset classes including public
equities, money market securities and alternative investments. As Associate at the Internal Equities
Department at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), she constructed and presented stock
recommendations, financial valuation models and cash flow analysis of consumer staples and
discretionary sectors within Emerging Europe and South Africa. She also conducted business missions in
Russia, Turkey, Poland, Greece, South Africa and the UK.
Fatima holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Sciences from Zayed University. She has successfully
passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Programme and Level 1 of the Chartered
Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Programme.
