Abdulla Al Yazeedi is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Economic Strategy Oversight Sector at the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Abu Dhabi, where he leads the development, alignment, and execution of the emirate’s economic strategies. In this interim role, he is responsible for ensuring that strategic initiatives are effectively translated into measurable outcomes across sectors, while strengthening governance frameworks and driving cross-government coordination to support Abu Dhabi’s long-term economic transformation agenda.
Prior to this, Abdulla served as Executive Director of Strategic Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) since 2020, where he led the Council’s strategic planning, policy development, and transformation agenda. In this capacity, he was responsible for shaping QCC’s strategic direction, aligning sector-wide programs with Abu Dhabi Government priorities, and driving the delivery of high-impact initiatives across quality infrastructure, public safety, and regulatory ecosystems.
He also served as Interim Secretary General of QCC, where he oversaw the organization’s executive operations and governance functions, ensuring institutional alignment with Abu Dhabi Government directives. In this role, he was responsible for leading executive decision-making processes, overseeing council-wide performance, and strengthening coordination across sectors and stakeholders.
