H.E. Dr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Albanna

H.E. Dr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Albanna is a seasoned diplomat and business strategist with over 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. He currently serves as Executive Chairman of AAG and previously held the position of UAE Ambassador to India from 2016 to 2023. Dr. Albanna began his career in the private sector, holding key leadership roles including Deputy Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Chairman of the Dubai Quality Group. He also served as a member of the Dubai Judicial Rent Committee and played a key role in the Dubai Expo 2020 initiatives. In 2013, he joined the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, where he served as Director of Economic Affairs, Director of African Affairs, and later as Ambassador. During this period, he contributed to high-level trade negotiations, including the GCC–EU/EFTA Free Trade Agreements, and was a member of the UAE National Committee for the WTO. His expertise extends to legal reform, having contributed to the drafting of the UAE’s Commercial, IP, and Companies Laws. Dr. AlBanna is known for his strategic leadership in international economic affairs and diplomacy. He has advised or collaborated with global entities such as ARC Group, HistoSonics, BMW, Rolls-Royce, RINA, Emaar, YAAP, Zepth, Wizz Financial and Unimoni-india.
