James Matthews is an artist and art educator living and working in the UAE, where he has been resident since 2007.
He has exhibited internationally and has artworks in public and private collections, including Bassam Freiha Art Foundation Abu Dhabi, Al Qassim Palms and Dates Museum Saudi Arabia, ArtBooth Gallery Abu Dhabi, ERTH Hotel and Resort Abu Dhabi, UAE Ministry of Culture Abu Dhabi, St. Regis Hotel Saadiyat Island Abu Dhabi, Rayhaan Rotana Hotel Al Ain, Clifford Chance Dubai.
Matthews gained his Master of Fine Art Degree from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, Bachelor of Fine Art (Hons) Degree from the University of Humberside, UK and Qualified Teaching Status Degree from the University of Derby, UK.
