Kareem Shahin is Chief Executive Officer of M42's Digital Health Solutions platform and Group Chief Digital Officer, where he leads the company's digital strategy and the application of AI to transform healthcare delivery. He also serves as CEO of Abu Dhabi Health Data Services, overseeing flagship initiatives including Malaffi, the UAE's first Health Information Exchange platform, which is accelerating the digital transformation of healthcare across the emirate. With more than 20 years of experience, Shahin has built a career at the intersection of healthcare, technology and innovation. Prior to joining M42, he was Chief Business Officer at G42 Healthcare, driving strategic growth and partnerships across the region. Earlier, he spent 13 years at IBM in senior healthcare leadership roles before becoming Senior Partner for Digital Health Transformation at PwC Middle East. Shahin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the American University of Sharjah and an MBA from Strathclyde Business School
