Born in 1997 in Al-Ahsa, Kawthar Al-Atiyah is a visual artist specializing in painting. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University with honors, honing her skills in exhibition organization and creative writing during her studies. Kawthar gained curatorial experience through a six-month internship at Noor Riyadh in 2022 and showcased her work at WSM Studio in the JAX district, Diriyah, in 2023. Her participation in a cultural project in NEOM documented Tabuk’s artistic heritage, reflecting her engagement with local traditions. Internationally, Kawthar has exhibited at "Minart" in Paris and collaborated with the Qatari Ministry of Culture, enriching her artistic vision. Recognized for her creativity and humanitarian perspective, she received a Misk Art grant for a residency in Alexandria, where she also led a painting master class. Her recent contribution to the "After the Rain 2024" exhibition at the Diriyah Biennale further highlights her growing influence in the art scene.
