Maya Haddad is the Senior Sustainability Manager at Ajman University, where she leads the institution's sustainability strategy across campus operations, education, research, and community engagement. With more than a decade of experience in sustainability, environmental health and safety, and organisational transformation, she has played a key role in embedding sustainability into the university's long-term vision and operations.
Her work focuses on climate action, decarbonisation, the circular economy, resource efficiency, and developing future-ready organisations through education. Maya is also an active contributor to regional and international sustainability initiatives, including the UAE Universities Climate Network, UNESCO's Greening Education Partnership, the International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN), and the Emirates Green Building Council.
