Mohamed is the VP General Manager of Amgen in the Middle East & Africa (MEA), with over two
decades of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech fields in various leadership roles in
strategic planning, business development and general management across Europe, Middle East &
Africa.
Additionally, he serves as the chairman of the pharmaceutical industry association in MEA
(PHARMEA). The association contributes significantly to the industry-government dialogue and
policy making in the region enhancing patient access to innovative medicines. Mohamed's
dedication to healthcare is motivated by a commitment to support patients during their most
challenging times.
He is a pharmacist, holds an MBA from Bradford University- UK, and a Six Sigma Black Belt. He is
also a member of the board of several companies in healthcare and technology startup sectors.
