Sahar Hamad Al Marzouki is the director and owner of Al Faris International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She is deeply committed to providing enriching academic environments that emphasize the importance of quality education and give students a competitive edge. The first Saudi lady to open an international school in the Kingdom, Sahar brings considerable expertise to her directorial position, having previously served in multiple managerial roles as Branch Manager and Deputy Head of Operations at the multinational Arab National Bank and the Saudi American Bank respectively. She is a keen advocate of a number of philanthropic causes and volunteering initiatives, as well as a frequent speaker at domestic and international education conferences with a focus on addressing key topics regarding sustainability, rights to education, and advancing education technology. Sahar’s passionate leadership propelled Al Faris International School to international recognition and accreditation, making it one of the few International Baccalaureate continuum schools in the region. More recently, she led the school’s effort to be the first international school to open in AlUla through a rigorous selection process conducted by the Royal Commission for AlUla.
