Uwe Dalichow

Uwe Dalichow is a distinguished leader at Bayer Pharma, currently serving as the Head of Region EMA in Berlin and CDH for Bayer Pharmaceuticals Middle East & North Africa. With a career spanning over three decades, Uwe has been instrumental in driving strategic transformation, leading to significant growth and innovation within the pharmaceutical sector. His tenure at Bayer Pharma has been marked by achieving sustainable, above market growth, managing a team of more than 3000 employees. Uwe's journey in the pharmaceutical industry is underpinned by a solid educational foundation, holding a Diploma in Business Administration from the Berlin School of Law & Economics and further enriched by attending corporate business schools at Harvard, IMD, INSEAD, and Duke. His career milestones include pivotal roles such as Country Division Head at Bayer Healthcare in Taiwan, where he led core brand launches in Cardiovascular and Oncology, and Head of Global Marketing Operations at Bayer Pharma in Berlin, where he spearheaded commercial excellence and digital initiatives. Before his impactful contributions at Bayer, Uwe demonstrated exceptional leadership as the Country Division Head for Bayer Schering in Thailand and as Managing Director at PT Schering in Indonesia, where he led a business turnaround and plant divestment. His early career also saw him achieving market leadership in Women's Health as the Business Unit Head at Schering ZAO, Russia.
