Mr. Al Jaidah is the President and Chief Executive Officer of United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari public shareholding company and the master developer of The Pearl Island and Gewan Island.
With more than two decades of executive leadership experience, Mr. Al Jaidah has built a distinguished career leading complex organizations, delivering large-scale infrastructure and development projects, and driving strategic transformation across the energy and real estate sectors. Renowned for his expertise in corporate strategy, operational excellence, project execution, and business growth, he has successfully led multidisciplinary teams and managed major investments across international markets.
Before joining UDC, Mr. Al Jaidah served as Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Cool for ten years, where he led the company's transformation, strengthened its market leadership, and delivered significant operational and commercial achievements.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Al Jaidah held several senior international leadership positions with RasGas and South Hook LNG in the United Kingdom, including serving as General Manager and Director. He established RasGas's first liaison office in South Korea, led critical expansion projects, and gained international project execution experience through a secondment with ExxonMobil in Houston, Texas.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Al Jaidah has contributed to landmark projects across four continents, with experience spanning Qatar, South Korea, Japan, France, Norway, the United States, Italy, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Al Jaidah holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri (USA), is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) through the Project Management Institute (PMI), and earned an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, completed in Shanghai, China.
