Zainab Al Ali

Zainab Al Ali is the Director of Outreach and Stakeholder Relations within the Brand and Strategic Initiatives division at Masdar. She is responsible for Masdar’s stakeholder engagement strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders and advancing the organization’s business and corporate social responsibility goals. In her role, Ms Al Ali oversees the delivery and implementation of strategies at Youth 4 Sustainability that empower, skill and upskill young people in the fields of sustainability and advanced energy. She is engaged in creating and developing programs that enable young people to become future sustainability ambassadors and sustainability leaders and to contribute to the UAE’s overall strategy. Ms Al Ali manages strategy, content development and implementation at Women in Sustainability, Environment and Renewable Energy (WiSER), a global platform engaging women in sustainability. As a UAE national supporting women from the UAE and from all over world to contribute effectively and enhance their growth in the sustainability field, she focuses on inclusivity through gender lens community engagement programs that have an impact on their career and professional development. Ms Al Ali is responsible for initiating and sustaining constructive relationships with key stakeholders and identifying partnership opportunities that contribute to overall business development.With over 12 years experience, Ms Al Ali previously served as project manager at the Prime Minister’s Office, working on establishing the Arab Youth Centre’s youth-focused programs. She also held the position of Young Future Energy Leaders Program Manager, an outreach initiative of the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology that mentors young professionals and students and enables them to become more engaged in finding solutions to the world’s biggest challenges – energy efficiency and climate change. Ms Al Ali holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the United Arab Emirates University and a Bachelor’s of Education from the Higher Colleges of Technology.
