Women in tech have been the subject of global goals, discussions, and debates for many decades. But while there has been significant progress over the years, women leave the tech industry at a 45% higher rate than men and the percentage of women in working in the tech fields was higher in the 1980s compared to today. And while female-founded and female-led startups are becoming more commonplace, they still only account for a small fraction of startups worldwide. What is needed to close the digital gender gap?
