Jonathan Brown is the Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral group, spearheading the Group’s development portfolio, including theme parks and other unique projects. Jonathan is resourcefully leading the planning, the management, and the delivery functions of multiple and diverse flagship projects within the set budgets and timelines.

With over twenty years of global real estate experience, Jonathan joined Miral in 2015, bringing a wealth of expertise to the organisation. As Executive Director, he made significant contributions towards the growth and success of the group. Jonathan played a key role in successfully delivering ground-breaking projects, while ensuring efficient execution from concept to completion, with a focus on innovation and environmental considerations.

Some of his notable achievements include the Turbo Track and Flying Aces roller coaster at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan, CLYMB Abu Dhabi, and SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi. Jonathan has been recognised and honoured with numerous accolades for the magnitude of his experience and success in residential, commercial, leisure, entertainment, and retail developments.

Jonathan maintains an extensive network of connections with local, regional, and international decision-makers, planning authorities, and national governments. These strong relationships are imperative for establishing seamless collaborations and strategic partnerships for Miral.

Prior to joining Miral, Jonathan successfully delivered the Battersea Power Station project in London, valued at £1.7 billion. In Abu Dhabi, he led the development of ALDAR Properties’ Yas Mall, a 230,000 sq. m retail destination with a value of £1.4 billion.

Jonathan has vast experience within the UK and Central Europe. During his tenure at the Miller group, the UK’s largest privately owned Housing, Development, and Construction services company, he managed a portfolio worth £7 billion.

A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, specialising in Planning and Development, Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Information and Administrative Management from Glasgow Caledonian Business School – Glasgow, Scotland.
