Dr. Maram Abadi, presently serving as the Vice President of the Young Arab Researchers Council at the Arab Youth Center and in the capacity of Strategy and Planning Advisor at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), stands as an influential force in the realm of youth empowerment, research, and innovation.

Dr. Abadi’s professional journey includes her prior role as the Senior Special Projects Manager at The Red Sea Global, where she led the charge in pioneering numerous significant green initiatives. Her visionary leadership was instrumental in the resounding success of these initiatives.

With a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from KAUST, Dr. Abadi has made a lasting impact in her field, contributing research to distinguished journals, such as Nature Communication.

Her exceptional contributions have garnered her esteemed accolades, notably the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Middle East Fellowship in 2017 and the Forbes Ignite Fellowship in 2021.
