Having started her professional career back in 2007 at Mediaquest, one of the region’s largest, most successful and most influential privately-owned media companies, Obeida spent 9 years in business development roles and 5 as a publisher in charge of Marie Claire’s regional editions, Haya, Buro ME 24/7, and the Arab Luxury World conference, among other media brands, before becoming the company’s CEO in 2021.

Throughout those 15 years, Danhach has played a very significant role in the success of Mediaquest’s brands. She’s tripled the size of its lifestyle portfolio and diversified its revenue streams while developing several market-leading brands in the region and forging powerful alliances and relationships. It is through this period that the media brands became leaders on the region’s female audience, with a combined reach of 2.6 millions across print and digital platforms.

While leading Mediaquest today towards a bigger future, Danhach incorporates her vision to accelerate its diversification and expansion process. Having graduated in business administration and fashion journalism, her attention to details, passion about media’s development and transformation, successful business models and international relationships with luxury brands built over the years, are a solid basis to transforming Mediaquest into a marketing services company focused on the female audience in the Middle East.
