Alex Zagrebelny

Recently recognized by Arabian Business as one of the 100 Most Influential People - Dubai 100 #11, Mr. Zagrebelny was born into the family of Vladimir Zagrebelny, a professor at the famous Riga Institute of Engineers of Civil Aviation, and one of the leading specialists in the field of printing, the head of the largest publishing house in Latvia (over 5,000 employees) Victoria Zagrebelny in Riga, Latvia, on March 13, 1974. In 1990 he finished secondary school with a silver medal, and in 1995 he received Master Degree in Economics with a specialisation in Finance and Credit, at Riga Aviation University (formerly RIECA).Alex has been studying ancient sciences and philosophies (especially, the entire universe of knowledge called YOGA) and their impact on the well-being and development of people in particular, for more than 20 years. With the highest level of sustainability and responsible attitude towards the planet, using the most advanced achievements of modern civilization, he implements this knowledge in all his projects.Alex has a happy family. He and, his wife, Kate have been married for 20 years, they have two wonderful children - son Alexey Jr., 17 years old, and daughter Lea, 8 years old. Alex calls his wife and daughter his muses, who inspire him to create and develop new concepts and buildings. In 2020 Alex moved his family and headquarters of the company to Dubai. In 1993, at the age of 19, Mr. Zagrebelny founded his first company, which grew to 200 employees in a year. The company produced wooden building materials for Germany. The business was successful, but Alex had the feeling that this was not his path of soul development. However, while designing office interiors and developing new workshops, he felt satisfied with his work. He sold the company in 1999 and founded R.evolution – a real estate development company. In 6 months, with the help of the best consultants, he completed a course of a technical university, while simultaneously making his first residential project. Tomsona Terraces (1999-2004), the company’s first luxury residential complex with an internal area of 16,100 sq.m., became a true pioneer and revolution in residential construction in Latvia, offering a new level of service to residents. This residential complex is still relevant and in demand on the luxury real estate market of Riga (the capital of Latvia). Now R.evolution’s portfolio includes more than 20 realised truly luxurious properties that have won prestigious local and international awards, at present two A-class offices are under construction in Barcelona and two residential buildings in Dubai and one hotel in Jurmala, Latvia.
