Dr. Stephen R. Grobmyer, is a renowned Surgical Oncologist and Institute Chair of the Cancer Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Previously, he was a Professor of Surgery and Co-Director of the Cleveland Clinic Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program in Ohio. He completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, his residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, and a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Dr. Grobmyer’s work focuses on innovative breast cancer therapies, and he has published over 196 peer-reviewed manuscripts and twenty book chapters. He has delivered more than 120 invited lectures worldwide. Recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America since 2007, he has received prestigious awards such as The Lester Dragstedt Physician Scientist Award. His research has been widely featured in prominent media outlets including NBC Nightly News and The New York Times.
