Omar Hikal’s perspective isn’t borrowed; it is earned. His 30-year career has evolved through three distinct chapters: corporate executive, entrepreneur, and for the last 15 years, strategic advisor. This journey, marked by both successful ventures and hard-won lessons, allows him to meet clients exactly where they are. He guides not just with academic depth, but with the empathy of someone who has walked the path. This context shapes his work as CEO of The Brand Company. Omar helps organizations move from traditional "brand identity,” which often stops at visuals, to identity-based branding. This approach focuses on the "inner game" first, aligning a company’s public story with its internal truth. He knows that a brand is only as resilient as the culture that carries it. Because vision always needs a vehicle, Omar bridges the gap between the psychology of leadership and the mechanics of growth. He combines the human insight of a certified Executive Coach (ICF: PCC, ORSCC, The Leadership Circle) with the rigorous frameworks of the Scaling Up approach. He helps leaders build the systems they need without losing the soul of the business. He has brought this integrated work to the leadership teams of over 100 companies, helping them build their brands and systems around the soul of their business. Omar has navigated the politics of multinationals (Marriott International, Philip Morris), family businesses (Egypt’s Mansour Group, Nile Co for Food, and KSA’s Al Othaim), and the volatility of startups (co-founding ventures in retail and tech). He understands the challenges and frustrations of the top job and the pressure of the P&L. Educated at Boston University’s Questrom School, with executive training at Harvard Business School and INSEAD, he advises boards and works with leaders around the world. Omar lives between Dubai and Cairo with his wife, Samar. When he isn’t working, he’s usually behind a camera, looking for the quiet, unguarded moments that tell the real story.
