Al Saqqaf is one of the U.A.E.’s youngest delegates to the UN, having engaged in over 70 global summits since 2016, including the World Government Summit. He advocated for the inclusion and empowerment of youth at institutional levels and within sustainable development policies and negotiated several resolutions in the General Assembly on Sustainability, Economic Affairs, and Social Development. On the topic of youth peace and security, he delivered recommendations to the member states and the UN-SG to introduce Youth Advisors to peacekeeping missions in Africa.
