Isaac “Yitz” Applbaum is Chairman of Emkan Capital a Saudi-based Venture Capital Group. He is also a founder and General Partner at MizMaa Ventures, a $250M venture fund that invests in Israeli startup companies in the Mobility, Fintech, Cyber Security, Cloud, and Digital Healthcare space. Issac is a senior advisor to EIGHT VC Partners a $6.5BN Venture Fund which invests in Enterprise Software and Healthcare Technologies and 7Wire Ventures a Digital Healthcare Venture Group. Isaac sits on the board of directors of Anagog Technologies, Coronet, Lynx MD and is Chairman of Novo-Genomics the first Genome testing start-up in the Kingdom. He is a Senior Advisor to HE Abdullah Alswaha, The Minister of Communications and Information Technology for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Isaac is also the Co-Founder of Secure Senior Connections a Social Determinant of Health platform that helps to solve loneliness in the elderly community and is the President of Health Connect Acquisitions Corporation (SNRHU), a publicly traded company in the Digital Health arena. Isaac sits on the Global Board of Directors for the Asia Society and is a Trustee of the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden and sits on the Governance and Nominating Committees.
