Ravin Chapagain is a seasoned coffee professional and hospitality expert from Nepal, with over a decade of experience across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and now Dubai. Having completed extensive training through the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) in green beans, sensory skills, roasting, brewing, and barista techniques, Ravin has cultivated a deep knowledge of coffee from bean to cup. His skills were further refined under the mentorship of respected industry figures, Patrick O'Malley and Damian Burgess, who helped shape his understanding of coffee craftsmanship. Throughout his career, Ravin has been committed to educating and inspiring others in the coffee community. He has led workshops at major events such as World of Coffee, where he trains beginners, encourages career growth, and shares advanced techniques. As part of Sanremo, he has also developed an expert understanding of coffee machinery, which helps him optimize flavor extraction and quality. Now, Ravin is honored to bring his expertise to the inaugural Forbes Middle East Medical Tourism and Wellness Summit, powered by American Hospital Dubai. He will be leading a workshop on brewing methods, including pour-over, Chemex, and Moka Pot techniques, tailored to home brewers and café enthusiasts alike. Through this workshop, he aims to elevate the coffee experience, helping participants understand and appreciate the subtle complexities of flavor and taste.
