Salim Abdullah Al Kaabi is a visual artist and inventor, a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, UK, known for combining artistic creativity with scientific innovation. With an background in petroleum engineering and scientific research, he holds two patents in sustainability for the artistic environment and has gained international recognition for his interdisciplinary approach.
Salim's groundbreaking technique, "Sunlight Printing," and his collection "Space Memories" use sunlight-reactive materials, rust on watercolor paper, and nanotechnology - infused scents to explore humanity’s connection to space. He has received several prestigious awards, including the 2023 NPF Art Prize and the 2020 Energy Global National Award, Australia.
